President: Koryn Isa, '24

Koryn Isa served as the Judicial Council President from April 1, 2023, to April 1, 2024. As President, she nominated and presided over Parliamentarian Hunter Brooke, Vice President of Elections Ryn Weiss, and Vice President of Peer Advocacy Thomas Musgrave. While a Notre Dame undergraduate, Koryn resided in McGlinn Hall and majored in Biological Sciences with a minor in Health, Humanities, and Society. 

Before assuming her role as Judicial Council President, Koryn served as the First Year Class Council Vice President and Ethics Commission representative for the 2020-2021 term, the Judicial Council Vice President of Elections for the 2021-2022 term, and again as Judicial Council Vice President of Elections for the 2022-2023 term. On March 1st, 2023, she was nominated to serve as Judicial Council President by Madison Nemeth—her predecessor and the 2022-2023 Judicial Council President—and was confirmed by a unanimous vote of the Student Senate. As President, Koryn oversaw a smooth electoral cycle with strong turnout, fostered a united and collegial Judicial Council, and engaged in a process of electoral and Constitutional reform.

On February 28, 2023, Koryn successfully nominated Hunter Brooke as her successor. In recognition and appreciation of "her unwavering dedication and boundless contribution to the University of Notre Dame du Lac," the Student Senate granted Koryn the title of Judicial Council President Emeritus on April 3, 2024. Above all, Koryn is remembered for her outstanding kindness and tremendous work ethic.

Parliamentarian: Hunter Brooke, '25

On August 29, 2023, Koryn Isa successfully nominated Hunter Brooke to serve as the Student Union Parliamentarian. Hunter Served as Parliamentarian between 29, 2023, to April 10, 2024, having previously served as a member of FUEL for the 2021-2022 term and Carroll Hall Senator for the 2022-2023 term. As Parliamentarian, Hunter engaged in a process of constitutional and bylaws reform, worked to uphold parliamentary procedure, and improve transparency. Hunter further instituted a requirement to record Senate meetings and established the Legislative Formatting Code. While a Notre Dame undergraduate, Hunter resided in Carroll Hall and majored in Political Science and Business Marketing.

On February 28, 2023, Hunter was nominated to the role of 2024-2025 Judicial Council President by Koryn Isa and confirmed by a majority vote of the Senate.

Vice-President of Elections: Ryn Weiss, '26

On April 5, Koryn Isa successfully nominated Ryn Weiss to serve as the Judicial Council Vice President of Elections. Ryn served as Vice President of Elections between April 5, 2023, to April 1, 2024, having previously served as a member of the Election Committee for the 2022-2023 term. As Vice President of Elections, Ryn oversaw transparent and highly engaging elections, increased voter outreach, and published new candidate materials that decreased instances of electoral misconduct. While a Notre Dame undergraduate, Ryn resided in Badin Hall and majored in International Economics and ACMS with a minor in linguistics. 

Vice-President of Peer-Advocacy: Thomas Musgrave, '25

On April 5, Koryn Isa successfully nominated Thomas Musgrave to serve as the Judicial Council Vice President of Peer Advocacy. Thomas served as Vice President of Peer Advocacy between April 5, 2023, to April 1, 2024, having previously served as a Peer Advocate for both the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 terms. As Vice President of Peer Advocacy, Thomas expanded the publicity of Peer Advocacy and student resources and worked alongside the Office of Community Standards to investigate the role of gender biases in disciplinary outcomes. While a Notre Dame undergraduate, Thomas resided in Stanford Hall and majored in Political Science with minors in Data Science and Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

On April 10, 2023, Thomas was nominated to the role of 2024-2025 Student Union Parliamentarian by President Hunter Brooke and confirmed by a majority vote of the Senate.
