2001-2002 Term
President: Tim Jarotkiewicz '02, '04, '10
Tim Jarotkiewicz served as the Judicial Council President for the 2001-2002 term. As President, he nominated and presided over Vice President of Elections John McCarthy, Parliamentarian Danielle Ledesma, and Vice Presidents of Peer Advocacy Nikki DePersis and Susan Wong. While a Notre Dame undergraduate, Tim studied Government and International Studies.
During his time at Notre Dame, Tim also chaired the Campus Life Council’s off-campus living task force. Tim was nominated to serve as Judicial Council President on March 21, 2001, by former Judicial Council President Tony Wagner and was confirmed in Senate on March 28, 2001. As president, he committed himself to student rights and safety.
On March 27, 2002, Tim successfully nominated Danielle Ledesma as his successor.
Tim was elected to membership in the academic honor society of Phi Beta Kappa with his undergraduate commencement in 2002. Phi Beta Kappa is the oldest academic honor society in the United States, recognizing students who excel in the liberal arts and sciences. He went on to earn his Master of Education (M.Ed) in 2004 with the Alliance for Catholic Education and his Master of Arts (MA) in Educational Administration in 2010.
Today, Tim works in K-12 education and is a Regional Account Executive with engage2learn.
Parliamentarian: Danielle Ledesma, '03
On April 4, 2001, Judicial Council President Tim Jarotkiewicz successfully nominated Danielle Ledesma to serve as the Parliamentarian. She was confirmed by a unanimous vote in the Senate on April 11, 2001, having previously served as a member of Key Club, secretary for Circle K, and parliamentarian for a year prior. She went on to serve a term as the Judicial Council President for the 2002-2003 term. While a Notre Dame undergraduate, Danielle studied in the College of Science.
Vice-President of Elections: John McCarthy, '04
On April 4, 2001, Judicial Council President Tim Jarotkiewicz successfully nominated John McCarthy to serve as the Judicial Council Vice President of Elections for the 2001-2002 term. While a Notre Dame undergraduate, McCarthy participated in Navy ROTC, resided in Keough Hall, and studied Business Administration and Accounting in the Mendoza College of Business.
Today, John is a Senior Tactical Systems Analyst at Tactical Air Support, Inc.
Vice-Presidents of Peer Advocacy: Nikki DePersis, '02 and Susan Wong, '02; Kathryn Anderson, '03 and Ricky Sadowski, '03
On April 4, 2001, Judicial Council President Tim Jarotkiewicz successfully nominated Nikki DePersis and Susan Wong to serve as the Vice Presidents of Peer Advocacy. The pair served from April 2001 until February 2002, striving to promote fairness in student disciplinary affairs. Their successors, Kathryn Anderson and Ricky Sadowski, were confirmed in Senate and served the remainder of the term.
While a Notre Dame undergraduate, Nikki studied Government and Computer Applications and Programming. With her commencement in 2002, she was elected to membership in the National Political Science Honor Society of Sigma Pi Alpha. Today, she is a member at Franklin Karibjanian & Law PLLC.
While a Notre Dame undergraduate, Susan studied in the College of Arts and Letters.
While a Notre Dame undergraduate, Kathryn studied American Studies and International Peace Studies. Today, she is an Acting Deputy Chief in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
On April 10, 2002, Judicial Council President Danielle Ledesma successfully nominated Ricky Sadowski to serve as the Parliamentarian. While a Notre Dame undergraduate, Ricky studied in the College of Science.
